And it’s time for a cup of tea.

Just completed: “This Side of Paradise” by F Scott Fitzgerald.

Next to read (purchased today!): “A Farewell to Arms” by Ernest Hemingway.

So far I’ve written 12,961 words.
Slowly but surely, this novel IS getting written, and it’s making me so damn excited!

Hemingway said to “write drunk, edit sober” - I intend to take that advice tonight. Cracking open a beer now before I begin my writing!

1,106 words into Chapter 6 and it’s about time for a tea break!

3,622 words later and Chapter 5 of my novel is officially complete!

Off to bed for a well earned rest now, feeling rather pleased indeed! :)

Very happy with my progress so far. This chapter in particular is an absolute delight to write. Can’t wait for that moment when I finally finish the whole novel though!

Just had a phone call from a publishing company about my novel! Talk about motivation :-D

I could do with being on a luxury cruise right now. Just sitting on a ship in the sunshine, a good book and a glass of port to accompany me, seeing all the different exotic ports and tasting each different culture’s cuisines.
I need a damn cruise.

It’s getting there, taking one chapter at a time, it’s getting there.
